The AHM TASKS Program is a partnership with the town of Columbia to assist the Seniors within the community.  The TASKS Program works with the Columbia Senior Services to help improve the quality of life for senior citizens age 60 and older, by providing them with the assistance and support of a youth TASKS worker.

Teens, ages 14 through 19 years old, are asked to complete chores for Seniors such as light household cleaning, raking leaves, shoveling snow and mowing lawns. Teens are paid for their time through grant funding. Teens must reside in the towns of Andover, Hebron, Marlborough or Columbia to be eligible to participate.

If you are interested in registering for the TASKS Program, or if you have any questions or concerns, please contact Bernadette Derring, the Columbia Senior Services Director at 860-228-0759 or at bderring@columbiact.org.  You may also contact Brendan Grimm, the AHM TASKS Facilitator at 860-228-9488 or at brendang@ahmyouth.org.
