The 4-Point Program offers specific tools and techniques for each of the program points:

  • Point 2: Coping with Urges
  • Point 3: Managing Thoughts, Feelings and Behaviors
  • Point 4: Living a Balanced Life

AHM’s SMART Recovery Programs

AHM’s Smart Recovery Teen group will be starting up again October 5th.

AHM Youth & Family Services has been selected to operate a SMART Recovery® program for teen students ages 16-18. This SMART Recovery program takes place at RHAM Highschool in the Guidance Department, on Thursdays during lunch periods.

Smart Recovery is one of the leading self-empowering addiction recovery support groups.  Participants learn skills and tools for addiction recovery based on scientific research.  The SMART Recovery 4-Point Program offers tools and techniques for each program point: 1.  Building and Maintaining Motivation 2.  Coping with Urges 3.  Managing Thoughts, Feelings and Behaviors  4.  Living a Balanced Life. This program is funded by the AHM Community Mental Health Fund.

We are not offering Friends & Family or Young Adult programs at this time.
