RUNA Concert Rescheduled to June 17th!

April 18, 2022

Dear Friends:

We are writing to let you know that the band RUNA has contacted AHM and a member of the band has contracted the COVID illness. Out of an abundance of concern and caution for our patrons, staff, and volunteers, we are immediately postponing this Saturday’s concert.

The new date for this event will be Friday, June 17th.  If you have already purchased tickets, an email will be sent to you so we can find out if you are able to attend on June 17th, or if you would like to be refunded.

Thank you for your understanding!

How often does a music act with international roots perform in your backyard? That according to AHM’s Executive Director Tressa Giordano, is exactly what will be happening on Saturday night April 23rd. On that evening the highly acclaimed Celtic-American band known as RUNA will be making their first appearance in AHM’s Performing Arts Hall as part of a legendary music series that each year has been met with rave reviews.

RUNA is known internationally as a super-group featuring Celtic-American Roots music. Their blend of traditional Irish and Scottish tunes, along with their repertoire of originals has influences from Jazz, Bluegrass, Flamenco, and Blues. As one reporter recently wrote: “RUNA’s music is “intoxicating.”

This concert series in past years has featured the Brubeck Brothers Quartet, Aztec Two-Step, David Foster, and the Shaboo All-Stars, Christine Ohlman and Rebel Montez, John Pousette Dart, Grayson Hugh, and Polly Messer, among other memorable past performances. The AHM Performing Arts Hall is a small, unique, and intimate setting for live music, which once again after a two-year hiatus will return with RUNA. Tickets are $40.00 per person. A very limited number of tickets remain. Live streaming for the performance is also available for $25 per household.

This concert series has raised thousands of dollars to benefit AHM social and human service programs for the children, teens, young adults, families, and seniors of Andover, Columbia, Hebron, and Marlborough. This year’s event will feature the concert and during intermission, patrons will be treated to desserts from local restaurants and bakeries, along with a live auction.

Tickets can only be purchased here online. No tickets will be sold at the door.

Thank you to all of our volunteers, donors, sponsors, staff, and attendees that have supported this wonderful event over the past 12 years!

We are no longer accepting sponsorships or donated items for the live auction!
