Upcoming Events!

AHM is excited to hold our second “Fall Into Art” Autumn Themed Community Art Show on Saturday, October 24th!

Last year, beautiful art was on display for all to view, in collaboration with Hebron Creative Collective. We also had craft projects available for creation, and had a visit from AHM’s mascot Pendleton! Many families stopped by to view the beautiful artwork and enjoyed making crafts at this FREE event.

We hope that local artists and community members will once again sign up to participate in this autumn-themed day of fun! If you are an artist looking to display your art, please use this form below to apply.

This event was held during Hebron Harvest Moon Festival, in collaboration with the Hebron Creative Collective.

Dancing With the Stars – September 19th, 2026

AHM was thrilled to bring our communities a “Dancing with the Stars” Fundraiser at the RHAM High School auditorium on September 19th!

This exciting, community-centered event paired local “celebrities” with dance studios to learn and perform a choreographed routine on stage.

🎉Big congrats to our First Place winners Scot Kauffman, Executive Director for Colebrook Village and Kali Pomerenke from Mansfield Academy of Dance. Congrats to Mary Rose Meade for earning the Fan Favorite Award! 🎉

Thank you to everyone who participated, voted, donated, volunteered, judged & came to cheer on our dancers!

AHM’s 40th Anniversary Celebration

Join us in celebrating AHM’s 40th Anniversary! In honor of this exciting milestone, the first 100 people who stopped by our booth at the Harvest Moon Festival in Hebron on Saturday, 10/26/24, received a free AHM-branded owl stress ball!

Our AHM mascott Pendleton was also on site to take pictures with the community, and we had the wheel of FUN for chances to win additional prizes!

To continue the fun celebrations, AHM staff hid 40 mini squishy owls throughout the four towns we serve of Andover, Hebron, Marlborough, and Columbia. Families who found them around town submitted photos to us! We are thankful to everyone who helped us celebrate this big milestone!

Gratitude Signs Fundraiser – Thank You to Our Frontline Heroes

Our Gratitude Signs Fundraiser was a tremendous success! Over 500 signs were sold and seen throughout many towns all across Connecticut! Communities showed their support and appreciation for our our frontline heroes by purchasing and placing a sign in front of their homes and businesses. Read our press release! 100% of the proceeds from the sale of these lawn signs benefited the following charitable organizations helping residents during the COVID-19 crisis: Andover Congregational Church Food Pantry, Columbia Senior Association, Hebron Interfaith Human Services, Food Bank of Marlborough and AHM Youth & Family Services. A limited supply of signs are still available for purchase from several local Hebron merchants: Tarca’s Automotive, Hebron Quick Lube, Gina Marie’s Restaurant and The Package Store. Thank you so much for your support during these very difficult times.

All signs came with a printed card that explains the Gratitude fundraiser, and where the funds were distributed.

Gratitude Signs Fundraiser Check Presentations!

On June 9, 2020 the AHM Board of Directors presented donations in the amount of $1500.00 to each of the food banks in Andover, Columbia, Hebron and Marlborough. The donations were made possible through the AHM Front Line Heroes lawn sign campaign. What started out as an idea to honor and recognize local front line heroes involved in the fight against COVID-19 quickly turned into a region wide fundraiser for five local charities. Read more!
