Social Media Presentation

March 20, 2018, 6:00 – 7:30 PM at RHAM High School Auditorium, 85 Wall Street, Hebron
This social media presentation is for parents of 5th – 8th graders and their children.  This is a must see presentation presented by Officer Tina Roy who will engage parents in learning the latest trends their tweens/teens are either involved in or are being exposed to by their peers.  Officer Roy is a school resource officer at a nearby middle school and she has extensive hands-on experience with these topics.  She is recommending that you bring your 5th – 8th grader to this presentation as well.  For more information, please take a look at our flyer.

5th Annual African Drumming and Dance Party

March 30, 2018, 7:00 PM at AHM, 25 Pendleton Drive, Hebron
For the fifth year in a row, world renowned master African Drummer, Bolokada Conde will be returning to the AHM Community Center for a special night of music and dance.  The cost to participate is $8.00 for individuals and $25.00 for a family.  Beginners are welcome.  All African Drums will be provided.  Anyone who has an African Drum is welcome to bring it with them.  Please see our flyer for more information.

Bolokada Conde was born in Morowaya, Guinea, West Africa and is one of the most celebrated Grandmaster Djembefola’s in the world.  He was lead soloist of the government ballet “Les Percussions de Guinea” for over a decade and currently performs and teaches worldwide to beginning and advanced students.  We are so excited to have him back at AHM!

Free Narcan Training

April 26, 2018, 12:00 – 1:00 PM at AHM, 25 Pendleton Drive, Hebron
Join us for a second Narcan training at AHM.  Trainer Tom Steen, Executive Director of CASAC, will provide training on:

  • Overdose Prevention Strategies
  • Signs and Symptoms of Overdose
  • How to Administer Naloxone
  • Good Samaritan Law
  • Support Information and Resources
