AHM Careers – Clinical Supervisor (Part-Time)

AHM Youth & Family Services seeks a licensed clinical supervisor to oversee the clinical department on a part-time basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the Clinical Supervisor for members of the AHM Clinical Team, including therapists, social workers and counselors.
  • As needed act as a liaison between the AHM Clinical Department and other agencies/schools/police.
  • Coordinate with clinical staff on any psychiatric services that may be referred to outside practitioners.
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to provide emergency consultation for local schools, police and community agencies regarding the clinical program, (as needed).
  • Assist clinical staff with designing programs of a therapeutic nature, i.e. grief groups, bereavement, divorce groups, (as needed).
  • Ensure that AHM is in compliance with all HIPAA policies and regulations. This includes the responsibility of being up-to-date on any and all compliance changes and revisions.
  • Responsible for overseeing the AHM Clinical Privacy Practices and Client Bill of Rights Policies along with Best Practice Methods and Standards of Care.
  • Responsible for ensuring all clinical information requests from other professional entities are handled according to state and federal laws and are handled on a timely basis.

ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES

  • Supervise clinical staff to formulate and implement treatment plans, meet annual goals and objectives, maintain confidential records, and staff professional development training.
  • Coordinate and provide on-going individual and group supervision to the clinical staff.
  • Coordinate, assess and assign all clinical intakes to clinical staff and maintain/monitor the clinical waiting list.
  • Conduct annual evaluations of clinical staff members.
  • Responsible for maintaining valid and updated Clinical License and Credentials.
  • Responsible to pursue ongoing professional enhancement, education and professional supervision.

Schedule:  7-10 hours per week, (2 half days per week)

Requirements:

Position requires a current Connecticut LCSW or LMFT license with a minimum of 5 years of master’s level experience in social work, counseling, or related positions in the human services field. Clinical supervisory experience is required.  Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is required.
